Welcome to Rikke Skibsted Borup: Data Scientist at Rooftop Analytics.

It is with great pleasure that we can introduce Rikke, Rooftop's latest arrival to the Rooftop team.

Rikke’s academic foundation is a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in data science from SDU (University of Southern Denmark), which provides a solid basis for solving the data science tasks we have at Rooftop.

Rikke brings experience in data science within the Energy sector. She has been employed at Nature Energy, a world leader in biogas, and her master's thesis focused on the use of neural networks for predicting electricity price distributions in the intraday market with the aim of using algorithms to automate trading in the energy market.

Rikke is very clear about why she chose Rooftop for her further career development: "I really want to become more knowledgeable in my field and develop the skills I acquired in my data science master's program. At the same time, I get the opportunity to work alongside some talented people from whom I can learn and with whom I can share ideas. The opportunity to work on different projects in various industries is also motivating."

In her first week, Rikke has started project work with our client Jysk Fynske Medier, and Rikke is also getting involved in our pilot project on electricity consumption behavior at Trefor.
